Bubble Troubles: Poems about Testing
by Janet Wong
Bubble Troubles
I'm in trouble with my bubbles.
I put a double answer-
A and D-
down for #10
accidentally.
Could've been an easy fix.
It should've been an easy fix,
if I'd caught it right away,
but I'm on #36.
I'm erasing the wrong answers,
bubbling in one line below,
and I've got an awful lot of painful
bubbling left to go.
And a queasy feeling's filling up
my mouth and throat and chest.
What would happen if I happened
to vomit on the test?
The Answer Could Be C
The answer should be C.
But that must be a trick-
because the last two both were C.
That would be slick:
C and C and C
to answer #1 and 2 and 3?
What is the Main Idea of the Story?
What is the main idea of the story?
A. yes, that's true
B. certainly not
C. wait: this works, too?
D. this one's not exactly wrong
I wish the question was,
Which does NOT belong?
